TODD LYNN: ROCK-N-ROLL'S BEST KEPT SECRET
"I always say that the three main things about fashion are that people want to look good, they want to look tall and they want to look skinny."--Todd Lynn
For Lynn's Spring/Summer 2016 pre-collection, he accomplished just that while really showcasing his confidence and skills as a tailor - he dressed his models in all white: the most unforgiving of hues. Every error on is easily noticed when working with white, so every stitch, seam and edge must be (and was) perfect.
“There’s a lot of tying-on, which I love,” Lynn explains of the collection. “I like the idea of a found garment, it reminds me of being a kid when I’d find clothes and adapt them. You make your own vision in how it’s worn.”
Lynn furthers the means of expression without sacrificing the craft and construction of the garment. Reflective eyelets are placed carefully across garments, allowing the wearer to adjust pieces as they see fit to make it exclusively theirs.
In addition to the impeccably tailored garments in white, ODD. New York carries a selection of Todd Lynn's newest and finest: from kimono-sleeved jackets to cropped trousers with interesting back seam details. Visit us in-store or online to discover what's available this season.
