Tonight was the debut women's runway show for Y/PROJECT, one of ODD. New York's core brands, on the first day of Paris Fashion Week. Set to a remix of Roxy Music's iconic 'In Every Dream Home A Heartache' by Elliot Berthault, the show and the collection evoked a timeline of rebellious ‘punk’ and 'glamrock' energy from its roots in the past through to the modern day. Since Glenn Martens assumed the role of creative director in 2014, following the unfortunate passing of Yohan Serfaty, the brand has truly come into its own. Each season Y/PROJECT mixes various details and silhouettes from throughout fashion's greatest decades and adapts them for the modern-day man or woman.
ODD. New York's assistant buyer, Lane Weaver, takes us behind the scenes with these polaroid images taken backstage and during the first run-through. Stay tuned for more, and be sure to check out our current selection of Y/PROJECT womenswear here and check out more images below.
